First established in 2001, the World Rugby Player of the Year is the rugby equivalent of the Ballon d’Or award as it recognises the best player in the oval game.

The overseeing panel select a list of nominees who can then be voted for by players, coaches, media and the public via Twitter. Informed by the vote, the panel then have the difficult choice of selecting the winner.

Question is, can you name all the winners and the nominees since it was established?

Good luck, and don’t forget to tweet us your scores @TheFlankerRugby or comment with them on Facebook @theflankerrugby
